Around The World
Grace partners with over 30 agencies and individuals both here domestically and around the world to bring the gospel to dark places, plant churches, and do good in our world. Contact Pastor Joel if you have any questions or want information about our partners and opportunities to go on one of our short-term teams!
ASIA'S HOPE
Since 2008, Grace Community Church has partnered with Asia’s Hope to rescue and raise orphaned kids at high risk of sexual and economic exploitation in Cambodia and Thailand. We have built and sustained two family-style children’s homes, and are now funding university scholarships and vocational training for the children in their care.
The Battambang 2 Home in Cambodia is home to 16 children who formerly lived as orphans.
Seven kids have graduated high school and are now attending local universities. The home parents are Vando and Seyla. Their four children also live in the home, which also employs two other full-time, live-in caregivers.
The Doi Saket 2 Home in Thailand is home to 21 formerly orphaned children. Three of the kids have graduated and now attend university. One child has graduated and is enrolled in vocational training. The home parents are Dong and Ying. their two children live in the home as well. There are two other full-time, live-in caregivers and one staff child living at DS2.
We’re excited to see this first generation of children grow up and succeed as independent adults who love their country and are committed to the Lord. We look forwarding to welcoming new children into these homes as the older children leave our care.
